Studies of the giant dipole resonance in Hot Sn nucleiKelly, Snover, and Van SchagenComprehensive studies of the all of the important reaction products in 18O + 100Mo collisions have been undertaken in order to understand the temperature evolution of the GDR in hot Sn nuclei. Detailed measurements of gamma-rays, protons, alpha-particles and evaporation residues performed at NPL allow us to quantify important preequilibrium and bremsstrahlung effects and permit an accurate extraction of the GDR properties.
