CENPA Fellow (Research Assistant Professor)

The Center for Experimental Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics (CENPA), on the University of Washington campus, invites applications for a CENPA Fellow. The Fellow position also carries the rank of Research Assistant Professor in the Physics Department. The position is full-time and not tenure eligible. It is expected to extend for up to 6 years, with a renewal after 3 years. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and a strong record of experimental research. Several years experience at successful research after receiving the Ph.D. are essential. CENPA's local research interests include neutrino physics, nuclear astrophysics, studies of fundamental symmetries, and relativistic heavy ion physics. In addition to engaging in research and service, Fellows are encouraged to teach one quarter a year or more and to supervise graduate students.
