I don't think so, but I also don't understand why a coincidence-free Dopfer experiment could not be performed. We'll see.
Followup Note (11/28/2014): It took some time to understand the "show-stopper" implicit in quantum mechanics that blocks observer-to-observer EPR communication using quantum nonlocality with switchable interference patterns. However, by 2014 I and a colleague finally understood the subtle mechanism, and this work is written up in a paper that can be accesses on the ArXiv at: http://arxiv.org/pdf/1409.5098.pdf .
