Measuring and understanding the magnetic field is an integral part of a CRES measurement. To do this in the cavity CRES apparatus (CCA), modified custom nmr probes from the g-2 experiment will be installed around the fiducial volume of the experiment. Details in the progress and challenges towards this goal will be reported. Next steps for magnetometry in the CCA will be presented.
