Title:

Commissioning of CUORE

Abstract:

CUORE is a ton-scale cryogenic detector that uses an array of 988 tellurium dioxide bolometers to search for neutrinoless double-beta decay of Te-130. While the bolometric technique that CUORE exploits provides an excellent energy resolution to search for neutrinoless double-beta decay, 10mK of operation temperature of the massive cryogenic detector requires complex experimental setup. Recently, the CUORE collaboration successfully completed commissioning of CUORE and the first data-taking with calibration source is currently on-going. In this talk, I will give an overview of the CUORE commissioning, focusing on the calibration system.
