We (Adelberger, Hoyle, and Swanson) are participating in an exciting new lunar laser ranging project (APOLLO) led by Tom Murphy at UCSD. APOLLO should produce an order of magnitude improvement over previous efforts, giving a precision of 1mm in the shape of the moon's orbit around the earth!
