Recent developments from data analysis of the Majorana Demonstrator

Abstract:

The Majorana Demonstrator was an array of p-type point contact high purity germanium detectors searching for neutrinoless double-beta decay (0νββ) in ^{76}Ge. The experiment finished operating in 2021, and recently published its final half-life limit for 0νββ of T_{1/2}>8.3×10^{25}  yr. Since then, great progress has been made on a variety of other measurements using data from the Demonstrator. In this talk, I will provide updates on the development a data-driven background model and the search for double-beta decay to excited states of ^{76}Se.
