I'll discuss some recent work with the Beta-decay Paul Trap and detector characterization done to improve systematic uncertainties. Recent measurements include a measurement of the 8B unoscillated neutrino spectrum and several recent searches for a tensor contribution to the weak interaction with 8B and 8Li.
