Abstract:
Creating figures which can convey information to an unfamiliar audience quickly and without distortion is at many times more art than science. Here I will talk about some of the choices that can be made in order to create a figure that can do both, show some tips and tricks for creating nice looking (and accessible) figures in Python/Matplotlib, and give some best practices for reproducibility of plots.
